Tomorrow’s Big Thrifty in Boston - aka May 5th

Hello bargain shoppers! We just filled a huge room filled with gorgeous plus size clothing all $10 or less!

And Re/Dress will be there doing our POP UP SHOP sale store. We’ll have dresses for $15, tops for $10 or 2 for $15 and also teggings, which will be $20 each or 3 for $50.

The Big Thrifty is a one-day bargain-hunting fat clothing event happening 12pm-6pm Saturday, May 5th at Unity Somerville, 6 William St. (edging College Ave.), Davis Square, Somerville, MA, just three blocks from the Red Line T station.

*****Important Notes*****

PARKING: Somerville’s Traffic & Parking Dept. will be relaxing enforcement from 12pm-6pm for street spots marked “Resident/Permit Parking Only” around the venue. Please do adhere to all other usual parking rules like meters, crosswalks, intersections, etc.
ACCESSIBILITY: There is a short set of stairs leading down into the space.
DONATIONS ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT: Just try to bring them early (from 12pm-2pm) so we can get them out on the floor for shoppers!
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED! Email thebigthrifty@gmail.com. Free admission if you volunteer!
CASH ONLY: Hit up an ATM before you arrive! (Re/Dress will be taking cards)
RE-USABLE BAGS: Bring them to take your purchases home in and you’ll get $1 off your total!

Pay $5 at the door and head toward fat thrifting fun! There will be tables and racks and bins of clothing sizes XL and up sorted by size. Items will be priced cheaply and easily (example: all tops, $3ea.). There’ll be a curtained-off area and mirrors for trying on clothes.

There’ll be a Re/Dress Pop-Up Shop with teggings and modern and vintage clothing, size 14+! We are very excited to be welcoming Deb and her Re/Dress awesomeness as part of this event!

Lesley Kinzel of www.twowholecakes.com will be selling and signing copies of her new fat!fat!fat! book from 1pm-4pm!

Boston’s Dyke March Committee will be tabling beverages and yummy baked goods!
