We’ve gotten over 100 emails asking questions today, so I thought I’d do a little FAQ to answer some of them!

Q: Where’s your vintage stuff?

A: We practically sold out during our sneak peek, but we will be posting new things all week and hope to have a large crop of vintage up on the site and ripe for the picking by Friday.

Q: When will you be carrying sizes up to 5x?

A: Super soon! Late next week we will have some new styles up to 5x posted, and in June, we will be offering some corsets, swimwear, hosiery, and separates that go up to a 4x-5x. Thanks for being patient! Right now we do offer all of our teggings products, which can fit up to a 5x.

Q: When will you be carrying masculine styles?

A: We will have vintage masculine styles available in late July, and then hopefully some modern masculine style options in September.

Q: When and where are you opening your brick and mortar store?

A: We are aiming to open at the end of the year. We are still looking for places, but will open in Cleveland, Ohio, and then hopefully expand to both the east and west coasts. We’re a small, independent business with only 2 employees, so we hope you understand and support us by giving us time to grow.

You may be wondering what Rachel Kacenjar (our new owner and plus size designer extraordinaire) & Erin (our new brand manager and style expert, at your service) have been up to since we ended our wildly successful Indiegogo campaign a few weeks ago. Short answer? A whole lot. Two photoshoots, buying tons of new stock, setting up our stockroom, taking inventory, finding clothing lines that go up to a 5X and beyond, buying a huge lot of plus size vintage menswear, making sure everything is running smoothly with our site… like we said, a whole lot. But we are finally ready to show you what we’ve been working on in one week! Dear Re/Dress friends and family,

I’ve got an important pieces of news for you. As the New Year draws near Re/Dress online is going to be transitioning ownership.

I will be moving on to a new career of becoming a massage therapist. My dream is to bring my fat positive activism and love for our community into hands on healing work. I’m having a blast being a student again. I’ve just finished my 100 hours of Swedish massage coursework and am continuing towards my certification and learning a variety of body work modalities.

Since the details are still being settled, the plans for the new Re/Dress are hush hush. But I can tell you that the current site will be shutting down Dec 31st. So take advantage of our awesome clearance sales. We want to move all the fabulous fashions we have right now left in stock. If you have any store credit or gift certificates I’d recommend using them before the 31st. All sales will be final.

I have immense gratitude for everyone who’s been a part of my Re/Dress journey. It’s been a wild and wonderful ride through the world of plus size fashion and it has been an incredible privilege to dress you gorgeous people.
